Fact Foundation (FACT) is a Nigeria-grounded organization that aims to support populations affected by ongoing and rising global challenges through exploration, data, and technology results. RADAR is a FACT program that promotes the use of “bottom-up” technology-grounded results in the delivery of public and philanthropic services.
The program works in cooperation with the Government, INGOs, and Donor actors to design and emplace technology-ground systems to respond to requirements and support communities affected by rising and ongoing global challenges. Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Senior Research Officer, the Graduate Communications Intern will play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility of the Fact Foundation's initiatives in Nigeria. This role involves supporting our communication endeavors to ensure a broader audience is informed about our work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Website Management and
Maintenance Support:
Ensure the efficient management and upkeep of FACT Foundation's website to
enhance its performance and user experience.
- Communication Strategy
Development: Aid in the
creation and execution of communication strategies that align with FACT
Foundation's goals and objectives.
- Content Creation for
Various Channels:
Contribute to crafting engaging content for diverse communication channels,
including the website, blogs, social media, newsletters, and more.
- Social Media Management: Assist in the supervision of social media
platforms, including content scheduling, monitoring, and engaging with the
Foundation's followers.
- Content Review and
Editing: Play a role in
reviewing and editing communication materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and
alignment with the Foundation's messaging.
- Production of
Communication Materials:
Collaborate on the production of communication materials such as brochures,
reports, presentations, and videos to effectively convey the Foundation's
mission and impact.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to
Communications and information dissemination, including maintaining stakeholder
and donor databases.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned to support the Foundation's communication and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
A degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Mass Communication, Social lores, or an affiliated discipline, along with a minimum of one time of professional experience in an analogous field.
Skills and Proficiencies:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication chops in English, as well as proficiency in one or further Nigerian languages.
- Complete managing social media platforms and complete at content creation.
- Familiarity with graphic design software and proficiency in using videotape editing tools would be profitable.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven capability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent computer chops, including proficiency in dispatch operation, word processing, and spreadsheet operations, with a preference for experience with Google Suite operations.
- Knowledge of website content operation systems, particularly WordPress.
- Demonstrated chops in cooperation and cooperative work surroundings.
