Position Purpose 
Summary of Key Functions 

  • Give support to the perpetuation of the monitoring pillar of the NHF responsibility frame. 
  • Give support to narrative reports review process of NHF-funded systems. 
  • Give Information operation and data operation support. 
  • Grease knowledge-  structure and knowledge-sharing on NHF processes within OCHA Nigeria and the NHF  enforcing mates. 

Duties and Liability:
 Give support to the perpetuation of the monitoring pillar of the NHF responsibility frame. 

  • Perform covering operations in line with the NHF monitoring plan. 
  • Help with the collaboration and perpetration of field covering visits and remote monitoring of NHF-funded systems. 
  • Document,  dissect, and interpret the results from field covering visits and remote monitoring to assess the progress against the strategic objectives of the Allocation and the Fund. 
  • Review submitted design monitoring reports,  dissect the results, and follow up on recommendations with separate mates.  
  • Give training and capacity support on monitoring and reporting to NHF  mates, in line with NHF Training Plan.  

Give support to narrative reports review process of NHF-funded  systems 

  • Liaise with the mate to admit progress narrative reports in time as per defined functional modalities of NHF-funded design. 
  • Review narrative reports and give feedback to mates. 
  • Guide mates and respond to mates ‘ queries about narrative reporting. 

Give Information  operation and data  operation support 

Perform the periodic update of design monitoring timelines, results, and recommendations in the Grant Management System( GMS). 

Collect position position data of NHF-funded systems to support position mapping. 

ensure data thickness among different progress reports submitted by the mate. 

Liaise with sector IMOs on an ad-hoc base to know mates reporting performance to applicable sectors. 

Support the operation of mate capacity assessment information in the GMS. 

Grease knowledge-  structure and knowledge-sharing on NHF processes within OCHA Nigeria and the NHF  enforcing mates.    

  • Support capacity assessment of new mates. 
  • Support capacity structure of NHF-eligible mate. 
  • Support the Allocation operation process. 
  • grease patron operations in the deep field. 
  • Perform any other duty assigned by the Head of M&R.

Needed Chops and Experience 
Education 

• Secondary education is needed. A University degree in an applicable field is desirable. 

Experience, Knowledge, and Chops 

  • A minimum of seven( 7) times( with secondary education) or four 4 times( with a BA degree) of precipitously responsible experience in philanthropic monitoring and/ or programmes or analogous functions is needed. 
  • 3 times ’ experience in working in the BAY States( Borno/ Adamawa/ Yobe) is  needed.  • Experience in Information Management  needed. 
  • Experience working with OCHA Pooled finances( NHF and/ or CERF) either directly or as a  mate is needed. 
  • Experience working in the UN system is needed. 
  • Experience working with Monitoring and Evaluation is needed. 
  • Vacuity for trip. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite. 
  • Knowledge of database structure and advanced exceed chops are desirable. 

Languages 

Ignorance in written and spoken English is needed. 

Knowledge of original languages is an asset.
